About Ben and Brolly

Twins, separated by generations.

Both composers, both guitar players, Welshmen, hewn from generations of poets, bards and storytellers, oh , and lovers of lemon drizzle cake……

Ben is a fiery, young, moustache wielding deathcore guitar player who is also an avid gamer, his three favourite games are ‘God of War’, ‘The Last of Us’ and ‘Assassins Creed 2’.
When not in the studio Ben is often out gigging with his band ‘Vivaria’.
As well as scoring short films Ben has already scored a plethora of games and has experience in implementation in both wise and fmod.

Brolly is old, really old….well sixty one , and is new to gaming.
He has spent the last thirty years scoring television shows, mainly animation and natural history.
He has been the musical director of the British Animation Awards three times and In 2014 he won an Emmy for the PBS show ‘Animal Misfits’.
Amongst the many other shows he has scored are ‘Meerkat Manor’, ‘SAS:Catching the Criminals’, ‘Olga the Polga’ and ‘Colourblocks’.

Working from their studios,they have a passion for creating drama, supporting the story and pushing the environment to help create fully immersive worlds.

Despite having all the toys and plugins, working with real instruments is very important to them, to add character, integrity personality and individuality to their soundtracks.
They both play a variety of instruments and have access to a large database of musicians and performers worldwide.
